Were you able to get your melons sweet?
Hi ATW,
Our melons were pretty heavily hit by powdery mildew this summer so we eventually had to take them out early which left us with fewer melons than we anticipated and I'm guessing they could have been sweeter too! Still we harvested a huge sack of cantaloupe, krinshaw,and honey due melons as well as some sugar babies and a couple of bigger watermelons.
Oh well, gotta roll with what nature gives us I guess! :)
Watermelon makes for a tasty and cooling shake for those hot summer days!
